Do you have a family member or friend looking for a job? Need a little extra cash? Well why not refer them to Goodwill and GET PAID? That's right! For everyone that is hired because of your referral to Goodwill for employment, we have $100 for you! **Certain restrictions apply, Contact your manager or Human Resources for more details. The Employee Referral Bonus Program (ERBP) is designed to supplement Goodwill's normal recruiting activities with the intention of enhancing the pool of diverse and highly qualified candidates for Goodwill's regular non-exempt positions, as defined by Goodwill. The primary purpose of the "Private Eye" program is to identify those candidates who may not ordinarily apply through traditional channels, but may wish to be considered against current openings. Employees may be eligible for a payment or "bonus" of $100 for each referral under this program which result in the hire of candidates referred. Specific eligibility criteria (for both submitters and candidates) must be satisfied for payments to be made. Program eligibility is a two-step process: Step 1 The candidate's resume/application must be submitted to and verified by the Goodwill HR Recruiting Coordinator. For more information on this, please see How to submit Candidates via the ERBP. The resume/application is entered into the Applicant Tracking System upon receipt. This data of receipt becomes the "timestamp" for purposes of the ERBP submission (the submitted data). The candidates resume/application is considered the ERBP "placeholder" and must be received by Human Resources before the candidate receives an offer of employment, in order to be considered eligible for ERBP. A preliminary assessment of candidate eligibility will be made upon receipt of the resume/application, and the submitter will be notified. The preliminary assessment is made based on a review of only some of the applicable factors. The final determination will be made only after all of the applicable factors are considered. Step 2 Upon the candidate's hire, the ERBP Eligibility Form must be completed and submitted to the Goodwill ERBP Coordinator. The ERBP Coordinator will perform a final verification of the eligibility form. The submitter will receive final notification of eligibility under ERBP guidelines. Where Goodwill has entered an approved ERBP candidate in the employment database and that candidate is hired into an eligible position, the referring submitter of record may qualify to receive the ERBP payment. Regardless of Goodwill's decision in regard to the eligibility of the submitter or candidate, Goodwill reserves the right to hire the best qualified candidate. Note: Goodwill reserves the right to adjust the program terms or to cancel or otherwise modify the program at any time. Adjustments, cancellations, or modifications will be determined by Goodwill's Vice President of Human Resources. Eligible Jobs The only jobs to which the ERBP is applicable are regular non-exempt positions, submitted through Goodwill's Job Opportunity Posting System. In order for an eligible employee to qualify for bonus under ERBP, the nominated candidate must have been hired into a position based on an active posted employment requisition in place prior to the candidate being made an offer.
