What’s New at Goodwill?

Goodwill Creates Jobs, Opens new Stores

Goodwill of North Georgia hopes to be a small beacon of light during tough economic times. The organization will open a new store in September and one in October. “Between the two stores we put nearly 90 people to work,” says Elaine Armstrong, director of public relations for the Goodwill. “We’re thankful to be in a situation where we can create new jobs when so many people are out of work.” The Hiram Goodwill opens its doors on September 17, followed by the Buckhead Goodwill in Atlanta three weeks later on October 8th.
