Atlanta residents now have one more place to find stylish, one-of-a-kind attire at a great price when Goodwill opens the doors to its Perimeter store on June 3rd. Goodwill Free Computer Recycling Programs

Goodwill stores and donation centers now provide donors with a place to recycle used computer hardware. People who drop off their computer equipment at Goodwill donation centers receive a tax receipt, regardless of the brand and condition of the equipment. Click here for more information.

Goodwill to Help Mentor Teens

Goodwill of North Georgia is proud to launch a new program designed to assist youth in overcoming disadvantages and avoiding delinquency. The effort is part of a national mentoring program known as Goodwill® GoodGuides that helps teens finish school and transition into productive careers through the guidance of trusted adults. Job Club Helps People Network and Provides Support

The Job Club at Goodwill of North Georgia serves as a networking opportunity for people who use Goodwill’s career services as part of their job search strategy. In Goodwill’s Job Club, job seekers network with one another and receive support and encouragement from other members. The Job Club provides various workshops and speakers on the subjects of: interviewing skills, resume writing, dressing for success, presentation skills, searching for potential employers, completing job applications and more.

Job Club is offered at the following Goodwill Career Centers:

Athens - Monday 11:00-1:00

Decatur - Tuesday 10-12:00

Duluth - Thursday 10-12:00

North East Plaza - Tuesday 2-4:00

Woodstock - Wednesday 10-12:00

Goodwill Wins Award For Serving the Community

Goodwill received an award for the impact that it makes on communities. The award came from the United Way Tocqueville Society. The Tocqueville Society recognizes local charitable leaders and volunteers around the world. Those who receive awards have devoted time, talent and funds to create long-lasting changes by tackling our community's most serious issues.
